Small groups are the lifeblood of our congregation!
This is where we really connect with each other and become a true
community. The following small groups are open to
anyone! Please feel free to call or email the office for more information. We'd love to have you join us!

We have started a new ministry to young children on Friday mornings called "Kids with Karen." It is filled with creative play, social interaction, and a small snack. Every Friday morning from 9 a.m. to noon, Karen Weber is in the nursery to provide a safe learning environment for kids. It is available to those who wish to participate in the Lutheran Chicks group, Bible Study, or any other activity for which someone would like to be relieved of parenting responsibilities for a few hours. For more information, please contact Ingrid in the church office, or talk to Karen on a Sunday morning. We welcome everyone!
Did you know that God has a story? While we may know some of the more notorious biblical stories and while we may know this book of the Bible or that book, it is important to look, dig, and discover the big story of God and what God does in this world. In fact, we might just discover that our own lives and our own stories can become transformed and intimately linked to God's story. Join Pastoral Assistant Ryan Chaddick on Friday mornings from 10:30 to noon as we traverse the Greatest Story. Baby and toddler care is provided.
Enjoy good fellowship and hearing interesting

There is no long-term commitment. Come whenever the topic
piques
your interest. You bring a brown bag lunch; we’ll provide the
entertainment!

The "Lutheran Chicks" meet at Mt. Carmel every Friday morning at 9 a.m. The goal is for women to prayerfully support each other. Share your ideas, experiences, and learn from each other in a peaceful "quiet" setting. If you choose, your children will have creative play, social interaction and paid childcare out of earshot -- but close by -- in our nursery. For more information, contact Ingrid in the church office.
We also offer annual women's and men's retreats, youth and
campus ministry activities and trips, and a large variety of
educational opportunities for all ages.
